The Mobile App Is Live

WriteHuman is now on iOS and Android. You can download it from the App Store and Google Play today.

If you already pay for WriteHuman on the web, your subscription works in the app too. No double charges, no separate plans. After you onboard, head to your profile and tap "Link web subscription." Your credits and plan will sync across every device you're signed in on, so you can start a humanization on your laptop and pick it up on your phone without missing a beat.

If you're enjoying the app, we'd love a quick review. It's one of the best ways new apps get discovered. Honest feedback from real users is how new apps surface for people who'd actually find them useful. It takes less than a minute, and we read every single one.

New Humanizer Models

Detector-assigned AI probability, before vs after humanization.

We rolled out the best humanizer models we've ever shipped. Higher quality output and noticeably lower detection scores across every major detector we test against. If you'd written us off because a particular detector was still catching your text, now's a good time to run it through again.

Bigger than this one release, though, is what's behind it. We rebuilt our internal pipeline for training and evaluating models. Updates used to take us weeks. Going forward, they'll take days. Expect rapid iteration from here on out.

New Research: AI Tells in 2026

While we were retraining, we also published a deep dive on the current state of AI detection. Which patterns still give AI-generated text away in 2026, which ones the detectors have stopped catching, and where the cat-and-mouse game is heading. If you're curious what the detectors are actually looking for, it's worth a read.

Reminder: The API

curl -X POST https://api.writehuman.ai/v1/humanize \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer wh_live_your_api_key_here" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"text": "Your AI-generated text here"}'

In case you missed it a couple updates back, WriteHuman has an API. If you're building something that needs humanization at scale, or folding it into a larger workflow, the API is the fastest path in.

API launch post.

April was a big month, but it's really just the start of a stretch we're excited about. The new model pipeline means you'll see updates coming faster than before, and we have a clear list of what's next. If you have feedback, a bug report, or a feature you've been waiting on, now is a good time to send it our way. We're moving quickly and the things you flag actually shape what we build next. Thanks for using WriteHuman.
